Wheel-throwing is one of the most exciting and satisfying pottery techniques, yet it is also one of the most challenging.

We believe it is essential to receive plenty of one-on-one attention from the tutor and have access to unlimited materials. This means you can start over again and make as many pieces as you like. 

That’s why we exclusively offer beginner throwing courses and classes in small groups or private formats, ensuring that you have the best experience possible. 

We have 4 formats how you can learn to wheel-throw with us:

︎︎︎WHEEL-THROWING COURSES

Six week course taught in a mini group (6ppl max) will take you through all the crucial techniques and enable you to work independantly. Unlimited materials (clay and glazes), and plenty of 1-to-1 attention from tutor guaranteed.

︎︎︎WHEEL-THROWING LESSONS: TASTER | TOP UP

One-off 2.5 hour wheel-throwing lesson in a small group (max 6ppl). Try out wheel-throwing for the first time or continue to learn and brush up on your skills. During each session we provide unlimited materials included in the price (fire everything you make!), access to our tools & machines alongside the expert guidance from our tutors.

︎︎︎WHEEL-THROWINGS PRIVATE LESSONS

During this private wheel-throwing lesson you will learn the basics of this ancient technique and produce 1-4 pieces/person that will be fired and glazed transparent.

︎︎︎DROP-IN SESSION: INDEPENDANT WHEEL-THROWING SESSION

If you are a confident enough on the wheel and want to work completely independantly - join any of our weekly drop-in sessions to practice. Tutor’s support isn’t provided, but all materials and firings are included.  Purchase a one-off class or go for a bundle and get up to 25%off.

Trimming & Glazing

If you would like to trim or glaze your pieces - come during the drop-in session.
